Privacy Policy Terms of Use Mobile Terms Back to Cardeva

Privacy Policy

Effective date: October 28, 2026 · Version 2

This policy explains what Cardeva, LLC, an Arizona limited liability company ("Cardeva," "we," "us"), collects when you use gocardeva.com (the "Site"), how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices you have. We are based in Mesa, AZ. You can reach us about privacy through the contact form at gocardeva.com or by phone at (612) 250-6132.

1. What we collect

Information you give us. When you request a rate review or contact us, we collect what you enter: your name, your business or agency name, email address, telephone number, organization type, your monthly card sales range, anything you write in the message box, and any document you upload, such as a merchant processing statement, together with the information that document contains. We also record your consent choices: whether you agreed to the Terms of Use and whether you agreed to receive calls and text messages.

Information collected automatically. When you visit the Site, our hosting provider and the Site itself may record your IP address, browser and device type, the pages you view, the page that referred you, the date and time, and an approximate location derived from your IP address. When you submit the form we also record the date and time of submission, the page address, the website or link that first brought you to the Site during that visit, any campaign tags in the page address, your browser identification string, and the version of the consent and terms language that was displayed to you. We use these records to operate and secure the Site and to prove what you were shown and what you agreed to.

Information from other sources. To prepare a rate review we may look up publicly available information about your business, such as your business type and location.

Visit counts. The Site counts its own visits; no outside analytics or advertising service sees them. For each page you open, it records the page, the website or campaign link that sent you, your device type, browser and operating system, which parts of the page you scrolled to, how long you spent on it, and whether you tapped our phone number. To tell a return visit from a new one, it keeps a random ID in your browser’s storage. That ID is not a cookie and is never linked to your name or email address. Visit records do not include your IP address; the Site keeps a scrambled form of it for one day only, to limit abuse, and then erases it. If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track signal, the page is counted without an ID. To stop the count in a browser, open any page of the Site with ?notrack=1 at the end of its address.

Cookies. The Site remembers your light-or-dark display preference in your browser. Our hosting provider may set cookies needed to serve the Site securely. We do not use advertising cookies or outside analytics tools.

2. How we use it

  • To prepare your rate review and respond to your request.
  • To contact you about your request and about Cardeva's payment services, in the ways you allowed on the form (see Section 5).
  • To place a merchant account for you through a payment processor or independent sales organization, if you decide to proceed.
  • To operate, secure, and improve the Site.
  • To keep records that the law requires us to keep, and to establish or defend legal claims.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share your mobile telephone number or your consent to receive messages with anyone for their own marketing.

3. Who we share it with

We share information only with the following categories of recipients, and only for the purposes above:

  • The payment processor or independent sales organization through which Cardeva places merchant accounts, so that it can prepare pricing for your review and, if you proceed, underwrite and open your account. That company has its own privacy policy and merchant agreement.
  • Service providers that host the Site, store form submissions, send email and text messages on our behalf, or provide customer-relationship and analytics tools. They may use your information only to provide those services to us.
  • Professional advisers such as lawyers and accountants, under duties of confidentiality.
  • Authorities when the law requires it, to respond to lawful requests, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Cardeva, our customers, or others.
  • A successor if Cardeva's business is sold, merged, or reorganized, in which case this policy will continue to apply to your information.

4. Uploaded statements and documents

A processing statement you upload is used for one purpose: preparing your rate review. It is seen only by Cardeva personnel and by the processing partner preparing your pricing. Please black out or remove bank account numbers, card numbers, and Social Security or taxpayer identification numbers before uploading. We do not need them to analyze your fees. We delete uploaded documents automatically within ninety (90) days of upload, or sooner if you ask us to, unless the law requires us to keep them longer. By uploading a document you confirm that you are authorized to share it with us.

5. Calls, text messages, and email

If you checked the consent box on our form, you authorized Cardeva, LLC to call and text you at the number you provided about your rate review and our payment services, including with an automatic telephone dialing system, an artificial or prerecorded voice, or an AI-generated voice, and to email you. Consent was not a condition of buying anything from us. Message frequency varies and message and data rates may apply.

If you did not check the box, we will reply to your request by email only.

You can withdraw consent at any time by any reasonable means: reply STOP (or words such as quit, end, revoke, opt out, cancel, or unsubscribe) to any text message, tell us during a call, use the contact form at gocardeva.com, or call (612) 250-6132. We honor requests within ten (10) business days. If you reply STOP, you may receive one final message confirming that you have opted out. We keep a record of do-not-call and do-not-text requests and honor them for at least ten (10) years.

Marketing email from us always identifies Cardeva, includes our postal address, and contains an unsubscribe link that works for at least thirty (30) days. We honor unsubscribe requests within ten (10) business days, and we never sell or transfer the email address of anyone who has opted out. Emails that respond to your request or deliver your review are not marketing email.

See our Mobile Terms for the full text-message program terms.

6. How long we keep information

  • Records of the consent you gave, including what you were shown and when: at least four (4) years.
  • Do-not-call and do-not-text requests: at least ten (10) years.
  • Uploaded statements and documents: deleted within ninety (90) days of upload, or sooner on request, as described in Section 4.
  • Visit records: they hold no name, email address or IP address, and we keep them to see how the Site is used over time.
  • Other lead and customer information: for as long as we have a business relationship with you or a legitimate business reason, and afterward only as the law requires.

7. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect the information we hold, including encryption in transit, encrypted storage where available, and access limited to the people who need it. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. If a security incident affects your personal information, we will notify you and the appropriate authorities as applicable law requires, including Arizona's data-breach notification law.

8. Your choices and rights

You may ask to review, correct, or delete the information you submitted by using the contact form at gocardeva.com or by calling (612) 250-6132. We may ask you to verify your identity before acting on a request. We may keep information we are legally required to keep, such as consent records.

Do Not Track. Some browsers send a "Do Not Track" or Global Privacy Control signal. When yours does, the Site still counts the page you open but keeps no visitor ID for you, as described in Section 1. We do not sell or share personal information for advertising, so these signals change nothing else. We do not authorize third parties to collect personally identifiable information about your activities over time and across other websites when you use the Site.

California residents. This policy is written to satisfy the California Online Privacy Protection Act. Cardeva does not currently meet the revenue or volume thresholds that make a company a "business" under the California Consumer Privacy Act; if that changes, we will add the notices and rights that law requires.

Nevada residents. We do not sell covered information as that term is defined in Nevada law. You may submit a verified request about the sale of covered information through the contact form at gocardeva.com or by calling (612) 250-6132, and we will respond within sixty (60) days.

Delaware residents. The disclosures in this policy about the categories of information collected, the third parties we share with, and how we handle changes and Do Not Track are provided to satisfy the Delaware Online Privacy and Protection Act.

9. Children

The Site is for businesses and public agencies. It is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.

10. Changes to this policy

When we change this policy we will post the new version here with a new effective date. If a change materially affects how we use information you have already given us, we will email you at the address on file before the change takes effect.
